From investment thesis to fund economics.
The investment thesis informs the portfolio plan. The portfolio plan sets the lifecycle. The lifecycle determines the operating model and economics. Select any coloured tile to explore the logic.

- Problem-first thesis: start with validated market and enterprise problems, not technology searching for a market.
- Problem repository: map value-chain workflows and costly inefficiencies; document buyer, ROI, cost of inaction and pilot intent.
- Validate before incorporation: conduct buyer conversations and seek pilot intent before forming a company.
- Founder recruitment: recruit technical founders against validated problem briefs.
- Venture creation: combine product development, GTM and value-chain stacking to move from problem to pilot and repeatable sales.
- Sandbox Grant Funnel: launch within the first six months of Year 1, after core problem mapping.
- Remote fractional pods: Brand/Comms, Product/Tech and Legal/Compliance specialists deployed in focused sprints. No physical office planned.
Working funnel from prior notes: 20 briefs, 15 target opportunities and 5 buffers.
Initial cheque: ₹3.0–3.5 crore per company. Target cadence: one startup per quarter, across a four-year manufacturing window. Allocation and company count must reconcile to final portfolio construction.
Ecosystem symbiosis: build complementary value-chain nodes, including suppliers, infrastructure layers and enterprise anchors. Use a single-buyer channel where possible to sell co-engineered solution stacks to external B2B customers.
Partial secondary: consider selling 10%–20% of a holding in a growth round while retaining 80%–90% exposure, subject to deal realities.
All amounts, cadence and return multiples are planning targets, not guaranteed outcomes. Confirm management-fee base, term, step-downs, expenses and reserves in fund documents.

Carry targets and projected values are planning assumptions. Salary-to-capital offsets and equity-loan arrangements require legal, tax and fund-document review; a salary deduction is not automatically tax-free or deductible. Confirm actual GP commitment, carry allocation and cash-call schedule in writing.
